Challenge

Our goal was to connect SPARK with audiences in their desired target markets across the U.S. This campaign focused on educating African American communities about autism research through community health talks. The ultimate goal was to educate and encourage sign-ups for the SPARK community.

Solution

GSC set up Community Health Talks at faith-based locations which allowed SPARK to engage with their target audience in a trusted environment. By partnering with various faith-based organizations and SPARK’s clinical sites across the U.S, we were able to connect them to local autism clinical site resources and create a more inclusive environment for both children and adults who have Autism. GSC also created a media campaign showcasing current members of the SPARK community and how being a part of SPARK has helped change their lives for the better.

Measurable Results
  • SPARK was able to host over 20 Community Health Talks in 10 of their desired priority target markets
  • Over 500 people participated in Community Health Talks
  • Nearly 4 million impressions were garnered through media outlets from around the country
